Agnes J. Pederson was born October 3, 1913 on the Pederson farm in Running Valley, Chippewa County. She had a loving family growing up on the farm in the Cooks Valley area near Colfax. After leaving her home, she went to high school in Eau Claire, and later worked near Milwaukee. Throughout her life she had many friends and was always ready for a good time. She loved life.
She is survived by her son, Bob (Mary) Gumm of Brooklyn Park, MN, five grandchildren: Chris (Allison) Gumm of Minneapolis, MN; Jennifer (Steve) Froelich of Mahtomedi, MN; Kevin (Kim)Gumm of Eden Prairie, MN; Heather (Mark) Greene of Edina, MN; Stephanie (Ram) Mehta of Eden Prairie, MN; 13 great grandchildren; Evan and Elise Gumm, Wes and Grady Froelich, Adam, Alex, Trevor, and Natalie Gumm, Charlie, Carter, and Cameron Greene, and Annabel and Avery Mehta; one sister, Ella Gough of Petoskey, MI and one sister-in-law, Barbara Peterson of Shakopee, MN, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Charles Gumm and Frank Cieslik; parents, Andrew and Helga (Ludvigson) Pederson; three brothers, Emil, Harold, and Alvin Peterson; and six sisters Inga Ager, Hilda Rooney, Aagot Johnson, Clara Tweet, Bertha Boschetti, and Elfreda Rehberg.
Agnes would not have been able to stay in her home until three weeks ago, without the wonderful care and help she received from her loving caregiver, Ann Verch, and good neighbor, Dorothy Bowe.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29 at Zion Lutheran Church, 110 E. Grand Ave., Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Thomas C. Stark officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Afterservice
A funeral service for Agnes Gumm Cieslik, 98, of Chippewa Falls was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Thomas C. Stark officiated and music was provided by organist, Marilyn Brace and vocalist, Doug Parker.
Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers were: Chris and Kevin Gumm, Mark Greene, Steve Froehlich, Ram Mehta and Dick Smith.
