Alice Seaberg

Alice M. Seaberg, 87, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Chippewa Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation.

She was born July 28, 1925 in Bagley, MN to Hannah (Berg) and Olaf Sherping.

Alice married the love of her life, Merrill Seaberg on March 23, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN. They lived in Eau Claire until moving to Chippewa Falls in 1965. Alice worked for the Woolworth Company for many years until her retirement in 1987.

She was a faithful member of Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.

Survivors include two sisters, Wilma (Ralph) Steig of Anchorage, Alaska, Jenny Bryan of Santa Anna, CA; nieces; nephews; dear friends, Charles and Ione Stumpner of Eau Claire; and many church friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Eileen, Helen, Wallard, Clifford and Kenneth; and her husband, Merrill on December 29, 2011.

At Alices request, no formal services will be held. Friends are invited to attend the 8:30 a.m. church service on Sunday, April 28 at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls, where Alices friends will host a special reception between services in her honor. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Memorials in Alices honor may be designated to Central Lutheran Church.
