Anderson, Linnea

Linnea Anderson, 89, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

She was born April 29, 1921 in Jim Falls at the family farm of her parents Amanda (Hanson) and Henry Nylund. She attended Vance Grade School. She was employed at the Falls Dairy in Jim Falls. She then moved to San Francisco where she was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad, until returning to Eau Claire where she worked at Luther Hospital.

Linnea married Arvid R. Anderson on Sept. 25, 1954 at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. After their marriage, they farmed together in rural Jim Falls until moving to Eau Claire in 1976, where she has since resided.
