She was born April 27, 1955 in Waukegan, IL to Virginia "Ginny" (Bogumill) and Charles Mesiar. Her family moved to Wisconsin in 1968. She attended school in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1973. Andrea continued her education at UWEC, graduating with a B.S. degree in vocal music education.

On September 23, 1978, Andrea married Jim Baldeshwiler. They have resided in Chippewa Falls since their marriage. She worked for Phillips Retail in Hallie until its closing, then at Prange Way in Chippewa Falls until the store closed. Andrea has worked at Northwestern Bank as a loan processor from June 1996 until January of this year.

Andrea's first priority was her family. She was a dedicated and devoted mother who raised five sons and supported them into adulthood. She had a great love for music and was a member of the Sweet Adeline's Singing Group, the Chippewa Community Chorus, and the Valley Gospel Choir. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was the choir director there for the past 36 years and played and directed the hand bell choir. She enjoyed scrapbooking and stamping, and made exquisite cards for family and friends for all occasions. She was a wonderful hostess and cook, and enjoyed family gatherings at her home. She loved being a grandmother to Ashton and Avrey.

She will be remembered as being patient, compassionate, understanding, and optimistic, with a smile for everyone. She was well respected and loved by her coworkers and customers at Northwestern Bank, as well as by her church family.

Survivors include her husband Jim of Chippewa Falls; five sons, Paul of Eau Claire, Gregg (Andrea) of Minneapolis, MN, Mark (Amanda) of San Diego, Scott of Madison and Kyle of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Donna (Gregory) Dierauer of Menomonie; two brothers, Keith Mesiar of Eau Claire, David (Riki) Mesiar of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren, Ashton and Avrey Baldeshwiler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
