Ann Roberta Boddy, 72, of Santee CA, formerly of Chippewa Falls, WI, passed away on May 12, 2015. She was born December 27, 1942, to Lyle R. and Norma J (Ehlers) Winter in Eau Claire, WI. She graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School in 1960. She graduated from Northwestern School of Nursing in 1962. In 1963, she married James D. Boddy. They had two daughters, Nancy Dewitz, Osseo WI, and Sharon Boyea, Wausau, WI.

Ann worked as a Registered Nurse in various locations, but found her passion working with the elderly in nursing homes. She retired from Nursing in 2000. Ann's other passion was quilting and sewing. She made many beautiful quilts for friends and family, and too numerous to count, baby clothes, teddy bears, and blankets for the poor children of northern Mexico with the Binational Emergency Medical Care Committee. Her home was filled with boxes and boxes of material for her to make things for the babies.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Tim) Dewitz, and Sharon (fianc Rich Wagner) Boyea;grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole) Dewitz, Michelle and Benjamin Dewitz, Terra (Justin) Popovich, and Seth, Jordan, and Kalyana Boyea; best friend and companion, Gayl Boddy (CA); brother, James (Patricia) Winter (GA); and aunts, nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Boddy in 1996; parents, Lyle (1973) and Norma (2000) Winter; and in -laws, Elmo (1982) and Lillian (2005) Boddy.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday,June 20, 2015,at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls, with Rev. LaMoine Jacobs officiating. Visitation will be from1-3 pm at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in the Village of Lake Hallie at a later date.
