Arcile A. "Sue" Vink, 72, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Leesburg, FL and Oshkosh, WI, died June 7, 2012 at Wissota Springs in Chippewa Falls.
Sue grew up in Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1958.
Sue proudly enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for a short time until being honorably discharged.
She married Roger Vink on February 20, 1960 in Oshkosh. The couple resided in Oshkosh, where Sue worked at Square D Electrical until her retirement.
Sue and Roger moved to Bonfire Village in Leesburg, Florida, where they spent their retirement years. She was an active member of her church, as well as her community. Talented at crocheting, Sue made many lap blankets and other items for family and friends to cherish.
She moved to Chippewa Falls in October, 2011 to be near family.
She will be dearly missed by three daughters, Diane (Mike) Price of Chippewa Falls, Kelly (Terry) Raasch of Princeton, WI, Jill (Brett) Newman of Moline, IL; two brothers, Arthur "Bud" Kiesow of Durante, CA, William "Jack" (Judy) Kiesow of Sobieski, WI; grandchildren, Jesse Price, Bradley Price, USAF, both of Chippewa Falls, Terry W. Raasch of Clintonville, Nickalus (Melissa) Raasch of Endeavor, Valerie (Chris) Alvin of Princeton, Jasmine Kline, Joslyn (Justin) Sawyer of Moline, all of Moline, IL; five great-grandchildren, Kadence, Abigail, Noah, Liam and Lola; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 11 at the Lakeview Memorial Park Chapel in Oshkosh. Interment will follow in the memorial park.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the Memorial Park Chapel in Oshkosh.
