Arthur A. Peterson, 77, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his home.

He was born May 19, 1936 in the town of Sigel to Margaret (Paul) and Arthur Peterson. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and went on to vocational school, earning a degree in accounting.

Arthur worked for Als TV and Radio Repair in Chippewa Falls for 25 years. After Als passing, Arthur kept the business going and operated out of his home.

It would be an understatement to say the Arthur loved to fish. He enjoyed living on Lake Wissota where he could fish every day. He also was an avid Packers fan and liked watching Nascar.

He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Bonnie (Dick) Amans of Chippewa Falls, Tom (Mary) Peterson of Jim Falls; nieces and nephews, Rick Amans of Chippewa Falls, Randy (Jody) Amans of Eau Claire, Rusty (Terry) Amans of Augusta, Melissa (Scott) Boehn of Chippewa Falls, Brandon (Kari) Amans of Prairie Farm, Mike Peterson of Chippewa Falls, Tanya (Jay) Skalecki, Heidi Peterson, all of Grand Junction, CO, Tom Peterson Jr., Dustin Peterson, both of Colfax, Tony (Kelly) Gray of MD; numerous grandnieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Paco.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 22 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Robert Hoekstra, chaplain at the Chippewa Manor, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

AFTERSERVICE:

A funeral service for Arthur A. Peterson, 77, of the town of Lafayette, was held at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 22 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiated and personal reflections were shared by family and friends. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers were John Stockinger, Jeff Nowak, Norb Duval, Roger Wood, Bruce Benson and Dale Steinke. Honorary Casket bearers were Rick Amans and Mike Peterson.
