Brady Smith

Brady J. Smith, 23, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System, after injuries from an automobile accident.

He was born May 4, 1994 in Eau Claire to Danette (Harris) and Brad Smith. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 2012.

Brady was a free spirit who loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed spending time on the farm with his Grandpa Smith; fishing up north with Grandpa Harris; bike rides with Grandma Harris; hunting; four-wheeling; and mud bogging with his truck.

He will be forever missed by his mother, Danette Smith of Hayward; father, Brad (Tanya King) Smith and Tanya’s children, Alexander King and Adriana (Mat) Berg, of Chippewa Falls; half-brother, Rory Smuhl; maternal grandparents, Danny and Shirley Harris of Hayward; maternal great-grandfather, Hank Harris of Eau Claire; paternal step-grandmother, Kathy Smith of Chippewa Falls; aunts and uncles, Chad (Colleen Giles) Harris, Dan Harris Jr., all of Eau Claire; Scott (Lorraine) Smith of Chippewa Falls, Debra (Earl) Jaenke of Fall Creek, Vickie (Howard) Anderson of Stanley, Susan (Walter “J.R.”) Cross of TN, Mike Smith of LA, Doug (Donelle) Smith of Cadott, Jodi Smith of Franklin, TN, Mark (Lisa) Smith of Bloomer, Todd Smith of Boyceville, David (Jeannette) Ellithorpe of Chippewa Falls; special cousins, Bree and Lexi; best friends Chris, Brady and Devin; his dog, “Boss”; numerous other cousins and many other close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna Mae Smith and Robert Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 28 at Crossroads Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Wade Duroe officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday, all at Crossroads Church, 209 South Ave., Chippewa Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
