11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 West Central Street, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church

Brian L. Jones, age 58 of Chippewa Falls, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, October 19, 2015. He was born on April 16, 1957, to Charles and Ilene (Larson) Jones in Eau Claire WI.

Brian graduated from Chippewa High School in 1975. He attended Fox Valley Technical School and graduated with the class of 1977. He married Monica Hurt on October 15, 1983, in Chippewa Falls. Brian worked for the city of Chippewa Falls in numerous positions, retiring after 32 years of dedicated service to the city. In his retirement, Brian enjoyed working as a grounds keeper at the Lake Hallie Golf Course. He loved to travel, play golf and music. He was a loyal WI sports fan, especially the Packers and Badgers.

Brian is survived by his wife of 32 years, Monica; sons, Travis and Tanner; brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Jones and Jim Jones; sister, Mary (John) Semingson; uncle, Lehman (Sandra) Larson; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 East Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 West Central Street, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Rev. Terri Koca and Rev. Richard Estrem-Fuller will be officiating.
