Brian E. Perry, 38, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
He was born November 18, 1976 in Eau Claire to Alice (Hunter) and Eugene "Huey" Perry. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1995. He loved sports, especially football and wrestling. While in high school, he wrestled as a Varsity Heavyweight for three years.
Brian also loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dirt track racing and had a great love for animals. He was known as a teddy bear, a true gentle giant who loved to take care of others.
Survivors include his parents, Eugene and Alice Perry; maternal grandparents, Donald and Raymonde Lamont; a sister Jennifer (Travis Hazelton) Perry, all of Chippewa Falls; a niece, Sierra Hazelton-Perry, two nephews, Nicholas and Eugene Hazelton-Perry; aunts, Michelle (Richard) Hibbs of Eau Claire, Kay Hahn of Garden City, Michigan, Jeanette (Dean) O'Connell of Chippewa Falls; uncles, Robert Hunter of Chippewa Falls, David Hunter of Winter; cousins, Kim and Raymond Hibbs, John, Robin, Bridgette and Stefanie Hunter all of Chippewa Falls, Cody and Jesse Hunter of Iowa, Donald Jensen of Eau Claire, Rachel Jensen of Chippewa Falls, Melissa Schuebel of Stanley; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Earl Perry, Geraldine Slotto; and step-grandfather, Merlin Slotto.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 28 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Pastor Pauline Bangle officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the town of Wheaton, Chippewa County.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., Saturday at the funeral chapel.
