Candi Rose Ayres, 41, of Eau Claire, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Springfield, MN on October 6, 1975 to Richard and Mary (Edmondson) Ayres. She grew up in Lambertson, MN and Menomonie, WI, graduating from Menomonie High School in 1994.

Candi loved listening to music, reading, drag racing and much to her family's dismay, her pet ferrets. She was very artistic and enjoyed doing crafts of all kindsbut above all, she loved her family dearly.

She will be forever missed by her mother, Mary (Richard) Heitkamp of Colfax; daughter, Shawna Gove, age 15; son, Colton, age 4; sister, Brandie (Jarrod) Anderson of Chippewa Falls; brother, Seve Ayres of Worthington, MN; and two nephews, Alexander Anderson and Levi Weinberg.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 1 at Faith Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. William Plautz officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
