Charles S. "Chuck" Gullickson, 60, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, October 20, 2012.

He was born March 22, 1952 in Chippewa Falls to Bette (Ackley) and Stafford Gullickson. He grew up in Bloomer and graduated from Bloomer High School in 1970.

Chuck worked for many years at Chippewa Shoe and at ITW Deltar in Chippewa Falls. Following the company restructuring at ITW, he worked as an auto service technician at Walmart in Hallie, where he was currently employed.

Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He liked to cook and find interesting recipes. He also enjoyed organizing family gatherings; especially the annual lutefisk dinner. Although Chuck never had children of his own, he was very much a part of his nieces and nephews lives and loved spending time with them. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include four sisters, Bette Lou Johnson of Chippewa Falls, Judy (Gene) Sempf of New Richmond, Sharon (Raymond) Miles of Eleva, Linda (Kirby) Olson of Bloomer; a step-daughter, Lori Laidlaw; step-grandchildren, Joe and Brianna; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 24 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Rick Hoyme of Central Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Bloomer City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 23 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

AFTERSERVICE:

A memorial service for Charles S. "Chuck" Gullickson was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 24 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Rick Hoyme of Central Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls officiated and personal reflections were given by Charles' nephew, Michael Olson. Interment followed in Bloomer City Cemetery in Bloomer.
