Connie Jane Klimek, 62, of Chippewa Falls, died on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN after a long battle with leukemia.
She was born November 4, 1955 in Chippewa Falls, the only child of Bette (Beranek) and Vern Ness. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1973.
Following high school, she worked at Ashley Furniture and as a housekeeper. Most recently, due to her health, she was a homemaker. Over the years, Connie resided in the Blair and Independence areas for many years.
She was married to Pete Przybilla. He preceded her in death.
On October 4, 2004, Connie married Roger Klimek in Las Vegas. They resided in the township of Eagle Point, Chippewa Falls. Connie was a member of the Eau Claire Moose Lodge Chapter 557. She loved Disney characters and even named her pets after them. She also enjoyed going to thrift sales.
She is survived by her husband, Roger of Chippewa Falls; mother-in-law, Lois Klimek-Deeren of Ettrick; special cousins, Jackie (Karen) Sachs of Thorp; stepchildren, Daniel (Julie) Klimek, Diane (Ty) Smith, all of Winona, MN, Carrie (Victor) Lukasek of Waite Park, MN; sisters-in-law, Debra (Mike) Suchla of
La Crosse, Sharon (Loren) Klein of Winona, Mary (Scott) Martin of Ettrick; step-grandchildren, Austin, Blaise and Elizabeth; many nieces, nephews, other relatives; and last but certainly not least, her “four-legged kids,” Mickey, Minnie, Ariel and Jasmine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pete; and a sister-in-law, Carol Klimek-Johnson.
A funeral service with Moose Lodge rites will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 20 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Terri Koca of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Arcadia.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
