Coreen Martinek

Coreen M. Martinek, 68, of 6153 191st St., Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Sat., Feb. 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 27, 1942 in Chippewa Falls to Arlene (Sarazin) and James Brovold. She was raised in Chippewa Falls where she attended school.

Coreen married Edward J. "Ed" Martinek on August 26, 1959 in Chippewa Falls, where they resided. She and Ed lived in Racine from 1963 to 1970 and then returned to Chippewa Falls. She was employed at the Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls and Charlie K's in Eau Claire.
