Dale L. Krebs, 73, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday June 22, 2016 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Dale was born on November 27, 1942 to Ed and Edna Krebs.

From 1960-1964, Dale served in the US Air Force. He worked as a tool and die maker at Vobeda Machine & Tool Company in Racine. He was an avid woodworker. He also volunteered his time at the Veteran's Home in Chippewa Falls.

Dale is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; children, Darrin (Lisa) Krebs of Chippewa Falls and Robert (Penny) Krebs of Providence, R.I.; siblings, Donna (Marlin) Vosberg of Elkhorn, Wis., Ronald (Lisa) Krebs of Appleton, Wis., and Roger (Gale) Krebs of Waukesha, Wis.; grandchildren, Tyler, Collin, Lainie, and Benjamin Krebs; and sister-in-law, Sandra (Bruce) Schwoch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Edna.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, June 24 at Faith Lutheran Church, 733 Woodward Ave, Chippewa Falls with Rev. William Plautz officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. at the church on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls.
