Dale Riley

Dale I. Riley, 86, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Ladysmith and Rice Lake, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Colfax Health and Rehabilitation Center in Colfax.

He was born April 3, 1924 in Rusk County to Effie Mae (Roll) and John Lester Riley.

He married Mildred P. Farley on June 29, 1947. She preceded him in death in 1994. He married Josephine Stelter on August 21, 1999.

At one time, Dale and his wife Mildred had a radio program called "Evening Vespers" on station WLDY in Ladysmith. Their theme song on the show was "My Task."

Dale worked as a millwright at a bedding company in Ladysmith. He also worked for Johnson Manufacturing and Lesona Manufacturing in Chippewa Falls as a draftsman. After retirement, Dale went to work as a custodian for the Rice Lake school system.
