Dale Robinson was born in Washington County, PA to Rhoda (Leonard) and Harry Robinson. He was a US Navy veteran, serving in WWII and the Korean War aboard the USS Borle DD704 and the USS Ault DD698.
Dale spent his early years in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked for 20 years as Assistant Train Master of the Union Railroad.
He moved to beautiful Wisconsin to help his brother, Wilbert at Chippewa Manor and later owned and operated the facility for a number of years. Dale served on many health care related boards and was a past president of the Wisconsin Health Care Association.

He is survived by his wife, Karen of Bloomer; son, Keith (Karen) of Lakeland, FL and daughter Denise.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Wilbert, Ronald and Delbert.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14 at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor with the Revs. Robert Hoekstra and Bruce Rimmereid officiating. Private interment with military honors provided by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council will be in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday, all at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor.
AFTERSERVICE
A funeral service was held for Dale Robinson town of Eagle Point on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Chapel of the Resurrection in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra, Chaplain at Chippewa Manor Retirement Community and Rev. Bruce Rimmereid, Pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Bloomer officiated. Music was provided by organist, Cindy Tewalt and vocalist, Rev. Bruce Rimmereid. Interment with military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council was in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.
