David A. Kressin, 55, of Chippewa Falls, died unexpectedly Monday, October 1, 2012.
He was born October 2, 1956 in Milwaukee to Tillie (Dimmick) and Eugene Kressin.
David served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1974 - 1978.
In 2000, he married Nicole "Nikki" Blaeser. He worked in the trucking business for most of his life. David enjoyed helping Nikki on the farm caring for her championship horses. He was proud of them and enjoyed bringing his grandchildren to see the animals. He was a wine enthusiast and had a passion for making his own wine. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole; daughter, Ashley (Daniel) Prince; sons, Hayes Kressin, Casey (Leah Hryniewicki) Kressin; step-son, Taylor Wildenberg, all of Chippewa Falls; sister, Diane (Mel) Lorenz of Boyd; and four grandchildren, Kaylie Schwingle, Trey Lauer, Paige Kressin and Kane Wildenberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, October 5 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Paul Oppedahl of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial with military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council will be at 8 a.m., Saturday, October 6 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.

A funeral service for David A. Kressin, 55, of Chippewa Falls,washeld at 7 p.m., Friday, October 5 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Paul Oppedahl of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, officiated.
Burial with military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council took place at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers included Steve Berthhold, Terry Boyea, Damian Montoya, Mel Loraenz, Dan Olson, and Cody Smith.
