Debra L. Thompson, 55, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

She was born January 27, 1957 in Illinois to Cornelia (Groeneveld) and Edward Yadron. At age 16, Debbie and her family moved to Augusta, Wisconsin where she graduated from high school.

Debbie went on to vocational school for nursing and worked as a ward clerk at Sacred Heart Hospital for over 20 years.

She married Peter Thompson on September 30, 1995 at the Sacred Heart Hospital Chapel in Eau Claire.

Survivors include her husband, Peter of Chippewa Falls; stepdaughters, Ammie (Rob) Golliday of Menomonie, Heather (Cory) Chovan of Bloomer, Shannon (Tony) Langlois of Eau Claire; two grandchildren, Shanice and Robert Golliday; a sister, Joanne (Don) Blomquist of Hixton; a brother, Michael (Barb) Yadron of Indiana; sisters-in-law, Gail (Steve) Frank, Patricia (Sid) Martin, all of Chippewa Falls; a brother-in-law, Michael (Renee) Thompson of Chippewa Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tim Ramsey.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Monsignor Edmund Klimek, officiating.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday evening at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Khatib and the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital for their excellent care and compassion show to Debbie during her stay there.

AFTERSERVICE:

A funeral service for Debra Thompson,55, of Chippewa Falls, was heldat 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Monsignor Edmund Klimek, officiated the service.

Interment was in Sechlerville Cemetery, in Sechlervilletownship, Jackson County, Wisconsin.
