Delores M. Smith, 87, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Lake Hallie Memory Care.

She was born January 30, 1927 in Fargo, North Dakota to Elizabeth (Daeschel) and Bert Smith.

She worked at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire in the laundry department with her sister Barbara.

Delores was a Green Bay Packer fan and also enjoyed watching Tiger Woods play golf. She loved to travel and took many bus trips throughout the U.S. with her sister Barbara.

Survivors include her brother, Buster (Judy) Smith of Racine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara Smith and her half-brother, Willard Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 4 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls. Fr. G. Valentine Joseph will celebrate the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Bateman Cemetery, town of Lafayette.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Delores M. Smith, 87, of Chippewa Falls, was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 4 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls. Fr. G. Valentine Joseph was celebrant at the funeral Mass and music was provided by Judy Brist. Readings were given by Joy Lancour and gift bearers were Joy Lancour and Kim Hillert. Interment was in Bateman Cemetery, town of Lafayette. Casket bearers were Jessica, Andrea, David, Gregory, Jeffrey and Aaron Smith.
