Devontia K. Spath, 18 of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Cadott, died on Friday, July 22, 2016.

Devontia was born to Charles and Sadie (Perry) Spath in Chippewa Falls on September 13, 1997. She attended Cadott schools. Devontia had a desire to help others. She had a big heart that touched many. Her smile and bubbly personality would light up a room. Devontia had a passion for all kinds of animals. She will be greatly missed by many.

Devontia is survived by her parents, Chuck and Sadie Spath; siblings, Savannha, CJ, Kye and Tatum Spath; grandparents, Roxanne Horstman, Daniel Smiskey, Kim and Sue Perry, Dave and Connie Lewis, and Bernard and Kathryn Spath; great-grandmother, Carolyn J. Horstman; aunts and uncles, Paul Perry, Carl (Cassie Heath) Smiskey, Robb (Livny) Smiskey, Dani (Alan Brown) Smiskey John (Michelle) Spath, and Nicole Spath; co-parents, Gary and Melissa Zoesch, and their children, Lucas, Jayden and Sklyee; special friends, Joie Calkins and Sam Ruhe; along with many cousins, other relatives and friends. Also, her canine companion, Shadow.

She was preceded in death by her aunts, Alice and Lori Spath; great-grandfather, Richard Horstman; and great-uncles Rick and Ron Horstman.

A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Perry Polnaszek will be officiating. Interment will be in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott. A time for fellowship will follow at the Cadott Park.
