Diane M. Johnson, 73, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at St. Josephs Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

She was born June 1, 1940 in Cobban, town of Arthur to Eldora (Lancette) and Harold Knudsen. She was raised in Chippewa Falls and graduated from McDonell High School. She attended Notre Dame Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls.

Diane married Kenneth Johnson on December 29, 1962.

Diane was very crafty. She loved to knit and sew. Although she had no children, she often babysat her great-nieces and took them in as her own. She spent countless hours with her niece, Mary Jo and Mary Jos three daughters, Ashley, Emily and Taylor.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Chippewa Falls who was the love of her life; her mother, Eldora Knudsen; a brother, Tom (Rita) Knudsen of Watkinsville, GA; nieces and nephews, Mary Jo Hanson of Chippewa Falls; Lisa (John) Layne of Watkinsville, GA, Jerry Erickson of Atlanta, GA and Tony Knudsen of Athens, GA; great-nieces and nephews, Ashley (James) Roesler, Emily and Taylor Hanson, Jake and Jack Erickson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Knudsen and a sister, Ruth Anne Knudsen.
