Dorothy T. Kaiser, 96, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Our House Memory Care with family by her side.
Dorothy was born on January 13, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. The daughter of William and Myrtle Kuechler. She attended Herbster State Grade School through 8th grade, graduating from East High School in Superior Wisconsin in 1946. She worked various jobs, waitressing, secretary to an attorney, and 20 years as secretary to the Chippewa Falls Chief of Police.
She married Gordon Gee in 1950, moving to Chippewa Falls. Together they had Barbara and David. They later divorced but remained good friends. She then remarried Joseph Kaiser, March 10, 1969.
Dorothy enjoyed painting ceramics, cross stitching pillowcases for her family and friends, and having lunch with her special group of ladies from City Hall. She also loved reading and playing Yahtzee and card games with her sisters and grandkids. She went on many special trips with her mom and sisters.
Lots of great memories were made with her family and friends over her lifespan, as many of us will remember, Kuechler family reunions were the best!
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bichner (Craig); daughter-in-law, Kathy Ludack; stepchildren, Shannon Sayers (Scott), Gary Kaiser, and Jeffrey Kaiser (Beverly); siblings, Don Kuechler (Jan), Ken Kuechler (Diane); and brother-in-law Bill Hansen; grandchildren, Sara Lien (Michael), Jill Miller (Jeff), Julianne Briski (Kyle), Adrianne Janke (Corey), Brittney Gee, and Kelli McCauley; great grandchildren, Kailee Lien (Colton), Kendall Lien, Kensington, Kyler, and Kaiden Miller, Will Briski and Rhett Janke; also many step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren, whom live out west. She is further survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Kaiser; former spouse, Gordon Gee; son, David A Gee; former daughter-in-law, Jeannie Kreutzfeldt Connor; stepson, Joel Kaiser; and siblings, Ruth Friebe, Jean Kuechler, William Kuechler, and Joan Hansen.
We would like to thank the staff at Our House Senior Living, and St. Croix Hospice for their dedication to caring for Dorothy.
