Dorothy Weber

October 4, 1924 — July 1, 2018

Dorothy M. Weber, 93, of Chippewa Falls, WI entered into eternal life on July 1, 2018 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI.

Dorothy was born October 4, 1924 in Waumandee, WI to Frank and Cecelia (Kreye) Reuter. After graduating from Arcadia High School, she attended the College of St. Teresa in Winona, MN. She was united in marriage with William M. Weber on June 10, 1948 at St. Boniface Church in Waumandee, WI.

Dorothy’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. An avid bridge player, one of her many gifts was to organize family card games. She also enjoyed sewing, playing golf and traveling with her family. Earlier in her life Dorothy served on the Library Board & owned Fabric Fair in Chippewa Falls.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Sandra Weber of Milwaukee, WI; Patricia (John) Osmanski of Galena, Il; Renee (Steve) Waclawski, of Waukesha, WI; William (Kathy) Weber of Appleton, WI & Mary (Guy) Gunner of Farmington, MN. Also surviving her are the Osmanski grandchildren: John, Krista (Chad) Casper, Amy (Nate) McCoy & Angie and the Waclawski grandchildren: Michael (Marina), Joseph, Stephen, & Paul. Her love and attention also extended to her great grandchildren: Alexia & Gavin Casper and Mya, Cora and Madeline McCoy.

She is further survived by her sister, Phyllis Kostner, her brother, Francis (Joyce) and sister- in- law, Kathy Reuter as well as many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband: William (Bill) Weber, three sisters: Ruth Benusa, Janice Morrison, Mary Lou Fernholz and brother: Tom Reuter.

A special thank you is extended to wonderful caring staff at Angel’s Grace Hospice.

A Visitation will be held for family and friends at The Church of Notre Dame, 117 Allen Street, Chippewa Falls on Saturday, July 7 from 9:30 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Chippewa Falls Public Library Gift Fund or AngelsGrace Hospice.
