Edith Willi

Edith G. "Gail" Willi, 84, of 522 South Main St., Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Chippewa Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls.

She was born July 18, 1925 in Chippewa Falls to Ione (McDonald) and James Agnew. She attended South Side Grade School, Chippewa Falls Junior High School and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1944. She then attended Business College in Mpls.

Gail married Lawrence "Pete" Willi on Oct. 4, 1948 at First Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls. After their marriage she was employed at Mason Shoe, then she was employed as a secretary at the Veterans Office at the Chippewa County Courthouse and then at the Chippewa Valley Boy Scout Office in Eau Claire for 23 years until her retirement.
