Edward N. "Eddie" Woodford, 30, of Chippewa Falls, died suddenly on March 22, 2017.

He was born November 6, 1986 in St. Paul, MN to Brenda (Tallman) and Timothy Woodford. He attended Boyd Elementary and spent his high school years in Eau Claire, graduating from McKinley High School. He continued his education at CVTC for computer programming.

Eddie loved music and was a talented guitar player. He was the best dad in the world to his two children, was open-minded, and intelligent. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping.

He is survived by his two children, Lucy and Edward Jr.; mother, Brenda (Larry Loop) Woodford; siblings, Kristy Tallman, Phillip (Melissa) Woodford, Leandus (Cassie) Woodford; nieces and nephews, Jayden, Collin, Shamiah, Taliah, Jewel, Terrace, Jack and Benson; a great-niece, Jade; aunts and uncles, Bonnie Lachman, Connie Sperry, Murry Tallman, Kevin Tallman, Jeff Woodford; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Edward and Leona Tallman; his paternal grandparents, Chester and Phyllis Woodford; and his aunt, Becky Jackson, who passed away the same day as Eddie in unrelated incidences.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Fr. Justin Kizewski officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred and appreciated.
