Eleanor Briggs

Eleanor J. Briggs, 88, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Mayo Health Systems of Eau Claire, WI. She was born on February 19, 1936 in Stillwater, MN to Fred and Irene (Chisholm) Hochstein. 

She is survived by her children, Nyla Kneifl, Wayne (Roxie Bauer) Briggs, and Ken “Bill” (Janell) Briggs; her grandchildren, Mike Kneifl, Jeff (Courtney) Kneifl, Jeremy Briggs, Amy (Jess) Radtke, Adam Briggs, Ron Briggs, Dave (Katie) Briggs, and Courtney (Andy Tyler) Bauer; along with 13 great-grandchildren.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Frank Biggs in 1999.

Per Eleanor’s wishes, a cremation will take place to be followed by interment at the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
