Eleanor (Berg) Luebke, age 86, of Chippewa Falls, went home July 26, 2015, in the early afternoon.She had been in long term care for 6 years. While she was at the nursing home, she often said that she wanted to go home and see her parents. God granted her wish on Sunday.

On May 29, 1929, Eleanor was born to Arnold and Florence (Johnson) Berg, in Chippewa Falls, WI. She was a graduate of Eau Claire Teachers College and was a kindergarten teacher before she married Delbert Luebke on August 8, 1953, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chippewa.

Eleanor grew up in Chippewa Falls and Syracuse, New York.While a teenager, she worked in Waterman's department store and had interesting memories of selling nylon hosiery during WWII. She was a member of St. Paul's and St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Kenosha.Eleanor was involved in the women's circle for most of her life.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Delbert; sons, Peter Luebke of Somers, WI and Jon Luebke of Seeley, WI; daughters, Karen Keto of Waukesha, WI and Vicki Luebke of Navarre, FL; seven special grandchildren, Dr. Christopher (Lynette) Keto, Jonyl (Casey) Okamoto, Jason (Hailey) Luebke, Matthew Keto, Michelle Luebke, Kirsten Keto, and Brandon Keto; four great-grandchildren, Alexa, Emma, Jacob and Lucas; brother, Charles (Virginia) Berg; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
