Emma I. Bollom, 103, of Chippewa Falls, died Monday, October 21, 2013 at Comforts of Home in Chippewa Falls.

She was born February 8, 1910 in the town of Lincoln, Eau Claire County to Hattie (Anklam) and Albert Vogler. She was raised in Eau Claire and at the age of 10, her family moved to the town of Wheaton and at age 14, they moved to the town of Brunswick.

Emma married Frank E. Bollom on November 28, 1930 in Stillwater, MN. They resided in Ann Arbor, MI from 1942 to 1945. They moved to Chippewa Falls in 1945 where she has since resided. She was employed at Mason Shoe until retiring in 1975.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.

Survivors include a son, Richard (Joyce) Bollom of Trego, WI; four grandchildren, Zane (Deb) Bollom of Hudson, Randolph (Sandy) Bollom of Hammond, Rex (Nancy Beaudette) Beachem of Chippewa Falls, Ryan (Tracy) Beachem of Cadott; great-grandchildren, Jared Bollom of New Salem, ND, Kendra (Phil) Jones of Roberts, Hattie (Tom) Redmon of Missoula, MT, Noah Bollom of Cody, WY; great-great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Ty, Isaiah, Matthew and Peighton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank on December 23, 2000; a daughter, Delores Sorenson on June 15, 2000; a sister, Elva Lardahl; six brothers, Hugo, Herman, Arthur, Albert, Frank and Leonard Vogler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 24 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls with Rev. T. Clinton Stark officiating. Interment will be in Brunswick Cemetery, town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Emma I. Bollom, 103, of Chippewa Falls was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 24 at Zion Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. T. Clinton Stark officiated and music was provided organist, Marilyn Brace and Emmas granddaughter, Sandy Bollom was the vocalist. Interment was in Brunswick Cemetery, town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County. Casket bearers were Rex and Ryan Beachem, Kendra Jones, Dan Varga, Wayne Bollom and Ernie Vogler. Honorary casket bearers were Wilbur Vogler, Zane and Randy Bollom.
