A private family service will be held

Flora M. Kolpien, 87, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2016, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

Flora was born on August 6, 1928, to Herbert and Mabel (Hoyt) Mansur in the town of Ludington, WI. She attended Chippewa Falls Catholic School. Flora was united in marriage to Henry Kolpien on June 9, 1944, in Chippewa Falls. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Flora enjoyed gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles and camping, along with many other hobbies. She was very musically inclined, playing many musical instruments. She was a wonderful housewife and homemaker. Flora was a devoted Christian that loved the Lord and was a great example to her family. She will be sadly missed.

Flora is survived by her husband of 72 years, Henry; children, Theresa (Jerry) Livingston of Augusta, WI, William (Sandy) Kolpien of Catawba, WI, Patricia (Jerome) Michels of Chippewa Falls, Linda (Joe) Whiteside of Eau Claire, Sandra (Ronald) Dresel of Altoona, Charles (Sandra) Kolpien of Amery, WI, Peggy Kolpien of Eau Claire, and David Kolpien of Cadott; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Janet Irene; siblings, Blanche Ruscin, Margaret Gilbertson, Arthur Mansur, Marion Bechtel, Dorothy Loew and James Mansur.

A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie.
