Francis Introwitz

Francis J. "Frenchy" Introwitz, 96, peacefully left this world on July 12, 2010 at Comforts of Home in Menomonie.

Francis was born June 10th, 1914, to Frank and Agnes (Moreau) Introwitz, in Chippewa Falls.

He worked for 42 years as head meat-cutter at the Northern WI Center. Francis also built and operated two rollerskating rinks in Chippewa Falls; The Rollarena and Skateland. He also owned and maintained many rental properties throughout the years. Francis enjoyed carpentry, gardening, playing piano, trips to the casino, and making new friends. He was a loving father, husband, and friend.

Francis was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls.

He is survived by son, Jason (Maria Beffa) of Menomonie; daughter, Michele of Denver, Colorado; their mother and his former wife, Melody Beranek of Austin, Texas; and his sister, Juanita (Clarence) Horvatin of Chippewa Falls.
He also leaves behind his beloved lifelong friend and first wife Delores Introwitz of Chippewa Falls, their son, three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Francis was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Basil and Gilmore, and sisters, Pauline Beauchaine and Bernadette Jensen.

Near the end of his life, he was especially close to his son Jason; Maria, Brooks and Lexey Beffa; sister-in-law Phyllis Shilts; Duane and Audrey Freagon; and the staff and residents at Comforts of Home in Menomonie.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 16 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls with Fr. Joseph Arul officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, July 15 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church.

Afterservice

A funeral service for Francis J. "Frenchy" Introwitz, 96, of Menomonie, formerly of Chippewa Falls was held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 16, 2010 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Fr. Arul Joseph was celebrant at the funeral mass and music was provided by organist, Judy Brist and soloist, Doug Parker.

Interment was in Calavary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers were: Jason Introwitz, Duane
Freagon, Richard Crawford and Cole Gillmore.
