Gloria M. Anderson, 85, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire.

She was born January 17, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Julius and Sadie (Noggle) Johnson. She attended school in Chippewa Falls.

Gloria married Marshall Anderson on July 1, 1948 in Chippewa Falls and they raised their kids on the farm. Gloria was the head cook at Connell's Supper Club in the early 70's, then worked as a nurse's aide at the Northern Center.

Gloria enjoyed fishing, gardening, crocheting, camping, spending time with her family, playing cards and trips to the casino.

Survivors include her five children, Linda Woodford of Fall Creek, Gordon (Jeannie) Anderson of Chippewa Falls; Christine (Steven) Writz of Elk Mound, Julie Anderson, Karen Gilbertson both of Richland Center; two grandchildren, Benjamin (April) Anderson, Andrew Bohl; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Sophie Anderson; sister, Joann Bergeron of Chippewa Falls and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marshall in April 2015; infant son, David; son-in-law, Roger Woodford; sisters, Betty and Carol; and brother, Julius.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 1 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
