Ilene Jones

Ilene G. Jones, 80, Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 25, 1929 in Eau Claire to Alvilda (Holte) and Ludvig Larson. She was raised in Sand Creek and graduated from Colfax High School in 1948.

Ilene married Charles "Chuck" Jones on September 23, 1950 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. After their marriage they moved to St. Paul and then to Sand Creek where they resided until moving to Chippewa Falls in 1957. After retirement she and her husband spent winters in Arizona and summers at Six Lakes in Chetek where they loved to fish.
