Isabel L. Krager, 101, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Wissota Place in Chippewa Falls.
She was born August 13, 1915 in Brainerd, MN, the daughter of Anna (Nelsen) and Conrad J. Hagen. She grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1934.
On November 23, 1946, Isabel married Richard W. Krager in Waukon, Iowa. They resided in Chippewa Falls, where Isabel worked at Woolworth's. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard of Chippewa Falls; daughter Sandra (Milton) Krumenauer of Castle Pines, CO; grandchildren, Jodeen (Pat) Krumenauer-Sweet of Bonita Springs, FL, Troy (Jennifer) Krumenauer of Castle Pines, CO, and Mike (Kathrine) of Kiowa, CO; great-grandchildren, Kate and Nick Krumenauer of Castle Pines; a niece, Connie (Dean) Hones of TX; nephew, Bruce (Coleen) Walter of ID; a cousin, Lucille Erickson of Minneapolis, MN; and dear family friends, Arlys and Denny Krause of Chippewa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Krager; two sisters, Bernice Janss and Grace Walter; and a brother, Floyd Hagen.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 14 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Interment will be at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
