Jack Reams

Jack L. Reams, 83, of Chippewa Falls, WI, formerly of Kirkwood, MO, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

Jack was born on March 1, 1934, in Ottawa, Kansas to Joseph and Millie (Warner) Reams. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from KU in 1957. Jack married Rebecca Johnson on June 10, 1962, in West Plains, MO. He served his country with the US Army until his Honorable Discharge. Jack owned and operated several auto repair shops and service stations in the St. Louis, MO area.

Jack was a member of the Mason Lodge Anchor #443 in University City, MO. He and Becky are also members of Grace Baptist Church in Chippewa Falls. Jack very much enjoyed trout fishing with his family. He had a passion for woodworking, gardening, cooking, reading and genealogy. Jack was loving and caring husband, father and grandfather that will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack is survived by his wife of 55 years, Becky; sons, Barry of North Barrington, IL, Gary (Gretchen) of Liberty MO, and Mark (Nancy) of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Allen, Margaret, Elizabeth, Jason, Sam, Amy and Matthew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Grace Baptist Church, 11591 17th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, with a visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m. Rev. Bruce Schmidt will be officiating. A private interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
