James LaRose

James R. "Jim" LaRose, 67, of 19001 71st Ave., Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Monday, September 12, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

He was born August 3, 1944 in Chippewa Falls to Gertrude (Pierce) and Mathias "Matt" LaRose. He resided in the town of Lafayette and was a self-employed mechanic.

Survivors include: his wife, Shirley (Kostka) LaRose; three daughters, Michelle (Ryan) McVinnie, Melissa LaBreck, Janeen (Don) Albrecht; one son, James "Jimmy" LaRose all of Chippewa Falls; four sisters, Pearl Crowley of Chippewa Falls, Ethel Martinson of Fall Creek, Cora Nelson of Augusta, Betty LaRose of Illinois; two brothers, Herbert (Lillie) LaRose of Cadott, John Jacobson of Chippewa Falls and also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Herman "Gussie" LaRose.

At Jim's request, a private memorial service will be held at Jim's home.
