James M. Wolfe Sr., 69, of Chippewa Falls, Village of Lake Hallie, diedThursday, May 1, 2014,at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

He was born June 7, 1944, to Frances (Nee) and Glen Wolfe and grew up in Beloit. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from September 30, 1961, until his honorable discharge on June 3, 1965.

On December 7, 1974, he married Joy Bulkley. They resided in Hallie, where Jim owned and operated Chippewa Valley Flooring Company.

Jim is survived by his two much-loved sons, James Jr. (Valerie) of Tampa, FL, Micah of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Jeri (Terry) Urbonya of Rhinelander, Patricia (Randy) Walker of Chippewa Falls; a brother, Glen (Barb) Wolfe of Madison; grandchildren, Laura, Rachel, Haley, Annabelle and Andy; sisters-in-law, Lonni Kehrein of Chicago, IL, TwilaDawn (Todd) Lovett of Waco, TX; brother-in-law, Jonathan (Carol) Bulkley of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joy on July 23, 2007; in-laws, Florence and James "Bert" Bulkley; brother-in-law, Glen Kehrein; nephew, Nathan Kehrein.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Jim Woldhuis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Interment with military honors will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are preferred and appreciated.
