Joan McCrossen

Joan Case McCrossen, 88, of Chippewa Falls, died on Monday, August 8, 2016, at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Joan was born to Merl and Grace (Buchanan) Case in Moorcroft, WY on April 12, 1928. She married Garner McCrossen in Kemmerer WY. Joan graduated from the University of Wyoming, Laramie with a B.S. in Agriculture and later graduated from the UW-Eau Claire with a Master's in Education in 1979. She worked as a Librarian at Chippewa Falls Senior High School, retiring in 1990.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Melinda McCrossen; granddaughter, Katrina Fearn; and brother Merl B. (Malinda) Case. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garner; and daughter, Melanie.

At Joan's request, there will be no funeral service.
