Joan M. Quigley

Joan M. Quigley, 72, of Chippewa Falls, died Friday, January 26, 2024, at Milestone Senior Living in Eau Claire while under the care of Interim Hospice.

On May 2, 1951, she was born in Chippewa Falls to Gerald and Patricia (Treis) Quigley.  Joan graduated from McDonell High School in 1970.  She worked for many years as a dental hygienist at the family’s dental office in Chippewa Falls. Joan enjoyed golfing and camping, especially at Fireside Lake Resort and Bear’s Den.

Joan is survived by her children, Patty, Jim (Andrea) & Todd Chevrier; granddaughters, Chelsea, Celine, Hannah, and Tyla Chevrier; grandson, Christian Thummel; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanne (Dennis) Boisvert, Jim (Denyse) Quigley, Mary (Ron) Giles, Geri (Mark) Falch, Tom (Jaci) Quigley, and Bill Quigley; sister-in-law, Lynette Quigley; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Wayne Anderson; Wally Chevrier; brother, John Quigley; and sister-in-law, Cathie Quigley.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 1 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls with Fr. Jesse Burish officiating.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment will take place at a later date at Cleveland Cemetery in Chippewa County.
