Joanne M. McRoberts, 78, formerly of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, February 18, 2016.

Joanne M. McRoberts, 78, formerly of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Gertrude's Health and Rehabilitation in Shakopee, MN.

Joanne was born June 9, 1937 to Kaslo (Casey) and Loraine (Lambert) McRoberts in Chippewa Falls.

She was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls. She graduated from McDonell Memorial High School. Joanne worked for Mason Shoe until she married and became a homemaker. Later, she drove bus in the Chippewa Falls School District and was a commercial truck driver for the Northern Center for several years until her retirement.

Joanne was the proud mother of three daughters, Lisa Yepes of Eden Prairie, MN, Jean McRoberts of St. Louis Park, MN, and Deb Faulhaber (Brian Namejunas) of Colfax, WI. She lived for her three grandchildren, Alexa Dietz, Tatiana Yepes and Gabriel Yepes. She enjoyed all of the time she was able to spend with them. She loved bowling, playing tennis, fishing, working in the yard and attending the Northern WI State Fair.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren; her sisters, Roberta Faulhaber of Orange, CA, Barbara (Craig) Aune of Lake Holcombe; goddaughter, Kelly (Chris) Ostrander; nephew, Paul Aune; nieces, Michelle (Bill) Sanderson and Aimee (Jim) Monahan.

She was predeceased by her parents; her niece, Pam Aune; her lifelong best friend, Natalie "Toots" Siverling; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Msgr. Mark Pierce of The Church of Notre Dame officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Spring interment will be held at the Cornell Cemetery, Cornell, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may go to your local chapter Alzheimer's Association in Joanne's honor.
