Jolene Rubisch

Jolene (Grissom) Rubisch, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024 at the age of 64 in her home in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Her battle with colon cancer over the past few years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile and sense of humor until the very end.

She was born to John and Dolores Grissom on May 12, 1960, in Denver Colorado and was the middle sibling to 4 loving sisters: Deborah, Lorraine, Janette, and Christine.

After graduating high school she began working at Pepsi where she met her husband, David Rubisch. The two married March 27, 1982 and moved to Dave's home state, Wisconsin, in 1990. Together they had one daughter, Carlie. She was also the "wicked stepmother" (Jolene's words) to Lance, Jaimie, and Nick.

Jolene was known for her kind and humorous spirit, often being the life of the party at any gathering. An avid dog lover, she shared her home and heart with several beloved dogs over the years, treating each as a high ranking member of her family.

Her hobbies included boating and spending time on the lake surrounded by friends and family and weekend shopping trips. Jolene enjoyed sipping margaritas on sunny afternoons and was known for her love of an occasional gambling trip.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor, with details to be announced, allowing friends and family to gather and remember the joy she brought into their lives.
