Josephine Alice Marie Samb, was born and joined Jesus and the Angels on Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Josephine is the daughter of John and Jessica Samb and precious little sister to Claire, all of Chippewa Falls.

Josephine was greeted with open arms in heaven by her paternal grandfather, Nolan Samb; her great-grandparents, Paul and Marie Hebert, Wayne (Carol) Eastman, Leola Eastman, Robert Krogen, Johnnie and Gladys Samb; and great uncles, Dave Eastman and Jan Eastman.

She will be mourned by her grandparents, Gwen Eastman and Barbara Samb, both of Chippewa Falls, Mark (Janet Process) Eastman of Green Bay; her great-grandmother, Evelyn Krogen of Fargo, ND; her uncle, Christopher Samb of Chippewa Falls; aunt, Beth Samb of Eau Claire; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josephine will forever be her mommy and daddy's little sweet angel and Claire's little sister "Fireman Samb" and they know they will hold her again in heaven.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 11 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Mike Houle officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her grandfather, Nolan Samb at Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and will be given to an organization that supports families who are grieving the loss of a child.
