Joyce C. Moe, 81, of Chippewa Falls, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Josephs Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

She was born March 27, 1932 in Chippewa Falls to Cecil (Mondeau) and Matthew Beaudoin and was raised in Chippewa Falls.

Joyce married Richard Moe on October 8, 1955 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. This marriage was blessed with eight children.

Joyce loved her position as lunchroom and playground supervisor for CACS. Always caring and compassionate, she was a good companion for her home healthcare patients. She loved to stay active by attending her grandchildrens school and extracurricular activities. She also enjoyed shopping with anyone who would take her. For many years, Sundays were family day, complete with a big meal after church. She will be dearly missed.

She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls.

Survived by her husband, Richard; eight children, Cindy (Jerome) Ducommun, Lynn Peloquin, Steve (Diane) Moe all of Chippewa Falls; Jim (Lisa) Moe of Menomonie, Ann (Bill) Salter of Ramsey, MN, Connie Moe, Nancy (Leonard) Mondeau, Paul (Shawn) Moe all of Chippewa Falls; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jane Plutshack of Menomonee Falls, her twin sister, Janet (John Jack) Bushland of Chippewa Falls, Jacqueline Jackie Kohlin of Shawano and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers-in-law, Charles Chuck Plutshack, Robert Bob Kohlin, Robert Moe and a sister-in-law, Beverly Moe.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 11 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Msgr. Mark Pierce officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. On Thursday, the rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m., at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Irvine Park, one of Joyces favorite places for family gatherings.
