Keven W. Miller

Keven William Miller, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, surrounded by family. He was 74 years old.

Keven was born on April 18, 1950, in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Claude W. and Velma A. (Tiry) Miller. He was the youngest boy in a family of four boys and three girls.

After graduating from Chippewa Falls High School in 1968, Keven attended college in River Falls and the Luthier violin repair program in Red Wing. Keven had a rich and varied life. He lived in diverse places such as Washington, where he enjoyed a unique experience living on a Motorsailer, Hawaii, and Oregon, before eventually returning to Wisconsin. He had a range of interests and talents, from landscaping and gardening to teaching art. He loved food and found joy in cooking for his family and friends. A lover of nature, he cherished moments spent fishing, camping, growing fields of colorful dahlias, petting bumble bees, and raising homing pigeons and Monarch butterflies bound for Mexico.

Above all, Keven's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He had a deep love for God and dedicated himself to following Jesus, which shaped his character and influenced all who knew him.

Keven is survived by his sister, Candy Miller, special sister-in-law, Susan Miller; daughter Kimberly Danielle (Shawn) Nelson; grandchildren, Arianna, Liam, Shawn, and Hannah; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings: Claudette (Bill) Dzubay, Roger Miller, Alan Miller, Cheryl (Paul) Sneen, and Kurt Miller.

A graveside service will be held to honor Keven's life at 11am on August 27th at Edson Union Cemetery on Hwy D in Boyd, WI, followed by a lunch at the pavilion at Lotz Park in Boyd. His family invites all who knew and loved Keven to join them in celebrating his life and sharing memories of a man who brought kindness, creativity, and faith into the lives of those around him.
