Kimberly A. Thibodeau-Singel, 52, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 31, 2013.

Kim was born July 24, 1961 in Caribou, ME, the daughter of the late Frank Thibodeau and Georgette (Giarard) Thibodeau of Bangor, ME.

A graduate of Old Town High School in ME, Kim spent many years of her career in administration. A position she held with Alaskan Industries, Inc. in Wasilla, Alaska was especially important to Kim. She also remembered, with great fondness, a job she had as general manager of a radio station in ME, formerly known as 104.7 Fox FM. In the past 6 years since moving to Wisconsin, she had developed her own pet sitting business which corresponded with a great fondness of animals that she always had. Kim loved spending time with her family, friends and her pets. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and shopping and was an avid and successful ebayer. She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by many friends and family members.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Singel and their son Nicholas Singel of Chippewa Falls, WI; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Plumstead and Justin Fletcher of Troy, ME and their two children Jeremy and Gavin, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Karen Thibodeau of Old Town, ME, brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Sue Thibodeau of Victor, NY and nieces and nephew Katie, Barbara and Matthew; as well as her mother Georgette (Girard) Thibodeau.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Frank Thibodeau, her brother Bobby Thibodeau and her daughter Megan Plumstead.

A celebration of Kims life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 11 at Valley Vineyard Church, 910 Bridgewater Ave., Chippewa Falls. Burial will take place this spring in Maine.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that gifts, in memory of Kim, be directed to Happy Tails Dog Park and sent to 18038 54th Avenue, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
