Kristopher Paul was born September 14, 1978 in Ladysmith, the son of Daniel and Kathryn (Brace) Martin. He lived in Winter before moving to the Ladysmith-Hawkins area where he attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School and graduated from Ladysmith High School. Kris attended college in LaCrosse and graduated from U.W. Eau Claire in 2004 with a degree in Photography and Art Graphics. After graduation he moved to Denver and in 2006 moved to Seattle, WA where he worked for Onlineshoes.com, as a video production specialist. Kris loved the Seattle area and also played in a band, "Touch My Hand for Tenderness". He will be remembered for his free spirit, his love of nature, animals, travel, adventure, family and friends.
He is survived by his father Dan (Mary Lou) Martin; mother Kathryn A. Brace-Schmidt; brother Benjamin (Tamara) Martin; nephews Lucas & Nicholas Martin; grandmothers Rose Martin & Marilyn Brace; many relatives and many many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winter. Father Pat Hardy and Kristopher's great-uncle, Rev. Donald Thorson officiated with music provided by Marie Ellickson, Susan Martin, Rae Marie Buckwheat and Kristopher's grandmother, Marilyn Brace.
