Larry E. Marquardt, age 68 of Chippewa Falls, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the WI Veterans Home in Chippewa Falls.

On December 12, 1946, Larry was born to Carl and Hazel (Hudson) Marquardt, in Baron, WI. Following his graduation from high school in 1964, Larry joined the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War until his Honorable Discharge. Larry spent many years on fairgrounds selling various merchandise. He loved fishing, hunting, motorcycles and working with computers. He had a wonderful sense of humor that amused many.

Larry is survived by his nephew, Henry (Mary) Hodgson; niece, Sherry Hodgson; and great-niece, Nycole Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura Gumness; niece, DeAnn Jackson; and great-niece, Bertha Billyboy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church, 531 E. South Ave. Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Jim Woldhuis will be officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
