GRAVESIDE SERVICE

11:30 a.m., Friday, August 15 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Leatrice G. "Lea" Paschelke, 80, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

She was born August 3, 1934 in Weyerhauser to Irene (Shindler) and Alois Paschelke.

Lea had been a resident of the Syverson Home for the past five years and before that, she lived at Family Tree in Eau Claire, where she made many friends.

Lea enjoyed needlepoint, going to thrift sales, cooking and helping with the housekeeping. She loved to watch and feed the birds at Family Tree.

She is survived by the staff and her friends at Family Tree in Eau Claire.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 15 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Aaron Sturgis of Central Lutheran Church officiating.

A special thank you to the staff at the Syverson Home for their friendship and care shown to Lea during her stay.
