Leslie Wagness

Leslie Wagness, 59, of Chippewa Falls, died unexpectedly at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire on Monday, December 16, 2019.

Leslie was born on September 6, 1960, in Denver, Co to Lowell and Rosanne (Mazurek) Wagness. He graduated from S.D.A. High School in Mountainview, CA with the class of 1979.

Leslie was an outstanding worker a foreman of concrete finishing. He did plumbing and electrical work as well. He truly was the “Jack of all trades.” He loved to volunteer his time and skills to others. Leslie would help anyone in need.

He loved the water and was blessed with a great singing voice. Leslie loved is creator, God in heaven.

Leslie is survived by his mother, Rosanne (Jim) Holder; father, Lowell Wagness, Sr.;  sister, Jennifer (Zoran) Krkljes; brothers, Lonnie Wagness Jr. and Joshua (Ajulu) Holder; Along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Leslie was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The interment will be in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott, at 12 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, with Rev. Aaron Sturgis of Central Lutheran Church officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Frog Hop Banquet Room, 23027 County Hwy X, Cadott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
