Lester L. Tice, 60, of Lakeland, Florida, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his home.
He was born January 5, 1954 in Ladysmith to Bethel (Kinsley) and Leelan Tice.
Lester worked for Zutter Elevators in Chippewa Falls until moving to Fall Creek where he hauled milk, was on the fire department, tended bar and also hauled cattle for Equity. He moved to Florida in early 2000 where he worked in the sulphur mines.
He liked to hunt and spend time with his friends. Lester had many wild cats that he liked to feed and care for.
Survivors include a son, Jeremy (Ashley) Tice of Chippewa Falls; his mother, Bethel Tice of Chippewa Falls; a brother, Larry (Cathy Jo) of Chippewa Falls; three grandchildren, Andrew, Clayton and Natalee.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 20 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Mark Homp of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be held be held at a later date in Winter Cemetery in Winter, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
